Ella Deitch finished fourth in the 1650-yard freestyle and fifth in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard individual medley while sophomore
Ada Digby placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle, helping Sewanee women's swimming and diving to a fourth-place team showing over the weekend at the Speedo Centre Invitational in Danville, Ky.
FRIDAY
Deitch finished fifth in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:18.08 while freshman
Sarah Beth Roady placed 13
th in 5:22.33 and sophomore
Adelina Willett was 19
th in 5:27.76. Digby finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.19, senior
Audrey Francell placed 13
th in 24.73 and sophomore
McKenna Reed (25.06) and
Natalia Evans (25.11) were 24
th and 25
th, respectively.
Sophomore
Eleanor Bishop finished 17
th in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:16.24 while freshman
Caroline Johnston placed 24

Reed, Francell, senior
Natalia Evans and Digby placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:38.61. a Top 10 time in school history. Johnston, Bishop, Francell and Evans finished ninth in the 400-yard medley relay in 4:05.40 while Willett, Deitch, Roady and Digby were 13
th in the 4:10.45.
SATURDAY
Deitch finished fifth in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:46.70 and Gearhart was 10
th in 4:58.06.
Roady finished 10
th in 1:59.31 in the 200-yard freestyle, Reed placed 19
th in 2:05.19 and Willett was 30
th in 2:09.06. Evans placed 11
th in 1:00.59 in the 100-yard backstroke and Johnston was 14
th in 1:01.43.
Bishop finished 16
th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.47, a Top 10 time in school history. In the 100-yard butterfly, Francell placed 18
th in 1:00.47 and Digby was 25
th in 1:01.66 in the C final.
In diving, senior
Zoe Napier placed ninth in the 3-meter with 243.90 points and
Lily Stooksbury was 12
th.
In the 200-yard medley relay, Johnston, Bishop, Francell and Digby finished 10
th in 1:50.83, a Top 10 mark in program annals, and Evans, Deitch, Roady and Reed were 14
th in 1:52.37. Deitch, Roady, Willett and Francell placed sixth in the 800-yard freestyle relay in 8:07.89 while Bishop, Johnston, freshman
Samantha Denman and Reed were 12
th in 8:15.13.
SUNDAY
Deitch finished fourth in the 1650-yard freestyle while Willett placed 13

th in 55.22. Bishop finished ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.56 and Gearhart placed 10
th in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:17.99.
Francell, Reed, Evans and Digby were fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:37.02, a Top 10 mark in program history, and Bishop, Johnston, Denman and Roady placed 13
th in 3:44.80.
In the one-meter diving, Napier placed 10thj with 223.05 points and Stooksbury was 11
th with 199.85.
The swim and dive teams take a break until hosting the Sewanee Invitational on January 10.
