Mixon rushed for 781 yards on 161 carries with nine touchdowns in nine games this season. He led the SAA in rushing yards and rushing yards per game (86.8), ranked second in rushing touchdowns and third in yards-per-carry (4.85) and all-purpose yards (92.1). He ranked 61st in the nation in rushing yards per game, 69
th in rushing touchdowns and 70
th in total rushing yards.
The Savannah, Ga., native rushed 89 times for 399 yards over a three-game stretch against Rhodes College, Trinity University and Centre College. He posted 29 carries for 201 yards at Rhodes while also completing 4-of-9 passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns. He carried 32 times for 120 yards versus Trinity and rushed 17 times for 137 yards against Maryville College earlier in the year.
Mack led the SAA and ranks fifth nationally in interceptions with six, including two at Rhodes and one versus Centre. He also ranks first in the conference and fourth in the nation with 11 pass breakups, including six at Rhodes and two versus Maryville. He has posted 47 tackles (37 solo) with one fumble recovery and posted seven kickoff returns fora 23.1-yard average. He registered seven tackles versus Brevard College, nine against Trinity and five apiece versus Southwestern University and Berry College.
Gnagy ranked first in the SAA in sacks (6.5) and tackles for loss (14.0). He has recorded 42 total tackles, 21 solo, and registered nine tackles with four tackles for loss and two sacks at Rhodes and collected six stops with three tackles for loss and two more sacks versus Trinity. He added 1.5 tackles for loss versus Maryville and had four quarterback hurries and two blocked kicks this season.
Barnes ranked second on the team with 36 receptions for 395 yards and a team-high four touchdowns in eight games. He posted seven catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns at Southwestern and caught TD passes at Bethany College and at Rhodes. He recorded four catches of 20-plus yards, including receptions of 33, 44, and 78 yards.
Johnson led the Tigers with 41 catches for 589 yards and three touchdowns in 10 contests. He ranked seventh in the conference in receiving yards and receiving yards per game. He caught seven passes for 73 yards at Bethany in the season-opener and made five catches for 84 yards and one TD at Southwestern with 66-yard TD. He also collected four receptions for 67 yards and two TDs at Rhodes and registered career-highs with nine catches for 209 yards in the season finale at Millsaps.
Rudd and White started all 10 games on the offensive line, a unit that helped Sewanee post 168.7 yards-per-game rushing, which ranked fourth in the conference and 73
rd nationally. Rudd graded out the highest among the offensive line during the season and White played half the year with two broken fingers yet many of the team's most explosive runs came off his blocks.
Hardin started all 10 games at center for the Tigers and did not allow a sack during the campaign while making all of the checks and calls up front
Grumbles ranked third in the SAA in tackles for loss (12.5) and seventh in sacks (4.5) while making 55 stops, second-best on the squad. He recorded 10 tackles with two tackles for loss at Southwestern and added 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack versus Maryville. He tallied a team-best 11 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in the season finale at Millsaps and had at least one tackle for loss in 9-of-10 games and at least 0.5 sacks in 6-of-10 outings. He also posted three quarterback hurries and one blocked extra point.
Rendessy led the Tigers with 59 total tackles, 36 solo, with five tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks this season. He added interceptions against Maryville and Southwestern with four quarterback hurries and one forced fumble. He tallied 11 tackles with one sack versus Centre, collected eight stops versus Brevard, seven at Bethany and Millsaps and six at Rhodes. He registered two sacks at Rhodes and one at North Carolina Wesleyan.
