Sameth named Arion Flat Rider of the Month for the NCEA

SEWANEE, Tenn – Junior Emma Sameth was named Arion Flat Rider of the Month as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) on Thursday afternoon.

The Far Hills, N.J., native put together a perfect mark in Flat, going 2-0-0 in the event to start the season. Both of her wins came on the road against Division I opponents, earning Most Outstanding Player honors and collecting the highest score of the meet.

To open the season against Minnesota-Crookston, she earned a 91 on Tillie, recording the highest score of the meet and beating her opponent by 12 points. She followed with another huge ride against Delaware State, recording a 90 on Kevin, and earning Most Outstanding Player Honors. Sameth also added an 88 on Fences for the Tigers against the Hornets.
