The Tigers broke through in the 73

Ashlyn Richards, with the ball ricocheting off at least two Sewanee players and then a Maryville defender before just crossing the goal line.
The Scots answered quickly, with Lee scoring from just outside the box on an assist from Chloe Chase, a low drive that bounced in front of Tigers goalie
Leah Atkins and got under her hands into the bottom left corner of the net in the 80
th minute.
Neither team was able to muster a good scoring chance in the final 10 minutes. Sewanee finished with a 12-10 advantage in shots and Mahr registered five saves compared to one for Atkins.
