Sewanee Football Set to Kick Off the 2024 Season

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee football is poised for an exciting 2024 season as they embark on their 130th year of competition under Coach McCollum's guidance. Here's a comprehensive look at what to expect:

Season Opener

The Tigers will kick off their season with an away game against Maryville College on September 7, with kickoff scheduled for Noon CT / 1 p.m. ET. Their first home game will be against Westminster College on September 14 at 1 p.m. CT, where they will also celebrate their Hall of Fame class of 2024.

Coach McCollum's Impact

In his inaugural season, Coach McCollum achieved several significant milestones:

Best start to a season since 2001
Victory in their first conference road game in five years
Ended a 23-game conference losing streak
Beat Millsaps for the first time in 18 years

For the 2024 season, McCollum has bolstered his coaching staff with new additions from various levels of football, including Division I and the NFL.
