Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee defended for the full 90 minutes and played to a scoreless draw against 15
th-ranked Emory in women's soccer action here Tuesday night at Puett Field.
Emory (4-1-2) controlled possession of play for the majority of the match (approximately 70 percent) but the Tigers (3-1-3) continued to clear through balls and crosses, forcing shots from distance that were not on frame.
The Eagles' best chance of the match came in the 75
th minute on a cross from Sylvie Prepetit. The pass found the head of Avery Thompson near the penalty spot but Thompson's header sailed wide right of the post, keeping the match scoreless.
Brianna Fee nearly put the Tigers ahead midway through the second half, with her blast from down the leftside hitting the side net. Fee also earned a cross in the 80
th minute but Sewanee was not able to capitalize on the opportunity.

Leah Atkins collected three saves and faced 15 total shots, 10 in the second half. Emory's Sophia Garcia made one save for the Eagles.
Sewanee returns home Friday to face Oglethorpe at Puett Field, continuing a five-match homestand.
