Will Yarbro was selected as the league's Player of the Week for baseball.
Posting multi-hit games in each of his games against Berry, Yarbro went 8-of-11 in the weekend series with two RBI and five runs scored as the Tigers took two of three from the Vikings this past weekend at home.
In the series opener, Yarbro posted a 4-of-5 day at the plate with a double, triple and two RBI.
So far in 2023, the junior transfer has a .295 batting average with 10 extra base hits and 12 RBI to go with an .835 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Yarbro and the rest of the Tigers begin a week on the road, starting with a midweek battle against Covenant on Tuesday afternoon from Lookout Mountain.
