LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Announced on Tuesday by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), the University of the South's
Ashton Anton was selected as one of ten players that earned recognition in games played last week.
For Sewanee, it is the first time in school history that a player was named to the Team of the Week by the USILA. The University of the South began sponsoring men's lacrosse as a varsity sport in 2008.

Playing primarily as a midfielder, Anton totaled 10 points on the week with seven goals.
The senior has 13 goals on the season and 18 total points.
Anton and the rest of the Tigers return to the field on Friday night with a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) showdown with Birmingham-Southern College. Face off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium.
