ATLANTA - The University of the South's
Jack Selner was picked as the Southern Athletic Association's (SAA) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in Sewanee's three games against Scranton (Pa.), Greensboro (N.C.) and Oglethorpe, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
The junior totaled 12 caused turnovers over the three-game stretch and picked up 11 ground balls.
Selner matched a career-high in forced turnovers with five in each game against Scranton and Greensboro.
Additionally, five of his 11 ground balls came against the Royals on March 13.
Sewanee returns home to welcome Birmingham-Southern College in a SAA contest on Friday night from historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium.
