SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South men's lacrosse team will host the first round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championships on Wednesday afternoon from historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium as the Tigers battle the Eagles of Benedictine University.

TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets to Wednesday's first round game will cost $5, cash or card. There will be two gates for entry, one at the Florida Avenue/Texas Avenue Intersection, and one behind the stadium in the Cell Tower Lot.
The University Athletic Department has purchased a block of tickets for current faculty, staff and students to attend Wednesday's contest. They will to go to the Will Call Tent at the Florida/Texas Avenue Entrance to obtain a ticket. They will need to show school ID in order to get into the stadium.
Disabled parking will be available in the asphalt parking lot.
Alcohol is not permitted inside the stadium. Tailgating will be located on Clarke Field.
ABOUT THE EAGLES: The 2022 season is the 10th year for men's lacrosse at Benedictine University. This season, the Eagles are 12-6 and won their second straight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament Championship by defeating Aurora (Ill.), 6-5, on the road on Saturday, May 7.
Colin Domek was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year, as he becomes the first player in program history to surpass 100 points in a season. The senior has 56 goals, a .406 shooting percentage, and 45 assists. He is 22nd in the nationl in points per game with 5.6.
Thomas Tillett is also in the top-30 nationally in points per games with 5.40. He is second on the team in points with 81 thanks to 43 assists and added 38 goals. Will Robinson is also another primary scorer for this Eagle offense with 61 goals.
James Ford (27), Jon Ackerson (24) and Brady Kern (23) are the top-three defenders in forced turnovers, while Aiden McGowen has won 122 face offs. In goal, James McDonald has stopped 171 shots and has a 55.9 save percentage.
CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE DOMAIN: This is Sewanee's first-ever home NCAA Tournament game in the program's 15-plus year history. The University of the South has been responsible for many NCAA Championships lately. Below are are the most recent championships that Sewanee has hosted:
