Field Hockey Falls to Lincoln Memorial

Box Score Sewanee, Tenn: On Tuesday, October 18th, the Sewanee Field Hockey team took on Lincoln Memorial in non conference action. After scoring the first goal, Sewanee fell to the visiting Railsplitters 4-1. Sydney Simpson found the back of the net for the Tigers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sydney Simpson got the Tigers on the board with an unassisted break away goal eight minutes into the game. 
- Olivia Rosini tied the game for Lincoln Memorial with 36 seconds left in the first quarter.
- Both teams went scoreless in the second quarter.
- Sewanee took three shots in the second quarter, but was unable to find the back of the net, getting two of those shots on frame. 
- The Railsplitters took a 2-1 lead with less than two minutes left in the third quarter.
- Sewanee would go down 4-1 on Lincoln Memorial goals six minutes apart in the final quarter.
