LEXINGTON, Va. - Washington and Lee University has announced on Tuesday afternoon that its men's basketball Holiday Tournament, slated to take place on Dec. 29 and 30, has been canceled.
The University of the South was scheduled to participate in the tournament, but COVID-19 protocols at the host institution forced the cancelation of the event.
Sewanee will return to the hardwood on Monday, Jan. 3 with a rematch against Centre College in Danville, Ky. Tip is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT, following the women's contest from Alumni Gymnasium.
