BECOMING AN ANNUAL TRADITION: The Tigers and Warriors will meet in the SAA Tournament Quarterfinals for the third time in the last four seasons. Hendrix took the opening matchup in 2018 from Conway, Ark., but Sewanee rebounded with a 2-0 clean sheet in 2019.
CLEAN SHEET CENTRAL: Sewanee has nine clean sheets on the season, marking the most since 2009, where the team also achieved nine shutouts. The program record was set in 2005 with 13.
Hanna Judycki has six combined clean sheets on the season and has allowed an average of 0.81 goals against, ranked fourth in the league. Additionally, her .841 save percentage is second-best in the SAA.
BALANCED SCORING: A total of 10 players have scored at least two goals, and four have tallied at least three strikes this season. Leading the way is
Olivia Rhodes, who has secured 14 total points on six goals and two assists. She is tied for fifth in the category.
O'HARE TO PASS: Maggie O'Hare currently holds the top spot in dimes this season in the conference. The sophomore has five assists, tied with three other league players. The Birmingham, Ala. native tallied two passes for goals in Sewanee's 10-1 win of Agnes Scott on Sept. 8.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: If the Tigers tame the Warriors on Saturday, the Purple and White will advance to the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 5 against the winner of Centre/Oglethorpe, who play at noon ET on Saturday. The championship will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7. The semifinal and championship matches will take place at the highest remaining seed.
