SEWANEE, Tenn. - Opening day for Sewanee baseball will have to wait one more day as Saturday's doubleheader with Covenant has been canceled due to snowy conditions.
The teams are not scheduled to make it up at this time. However, the teams do plan on meeting for one game each both on Lookout Mountain and in Sewanee later in the season.
The Tigers will try again on Sunday, as they will take on Brescia at 11:30 a.m. Originally scheduled for a single game, the teams will now play a doubleheader.
