Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - With Sewanee and Birmingham-Southern entering Sunday's match tied for second place in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) standings with 10 points each, this was a crucial match for both teams with the conference tournament looming. Thanks to two second half goals, the Tigers defeated the Panthers, 3-1, Sunday afternoon from Goldfarb Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers struck first in the match on a corner kick in the 30th minute, as Sydney Barrow netted her ninth goal of the season.
-Over a minute later, Chloe Thompson found Nika Gorski for her fourth goal of the season to even the match at a goal apiece.
-As the contest shifted to the second half, the Tigers scored twice in a five-minute span. In the 52nd minute, Maggie Gall scored her first goal of the season to give the visitors the 2-1 lead.
-In the 58th minute, Addie Roemershauser netted her 12th goal of 2019 to give Sewanee a key insurance goal.
-In the final 30 minutes, the Panthers were limited to just three shots.
