HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee had eight shots in the first half, but none were able to find the back of the net. Four of the eight shots were saved by the Millsaps keeper.
-After three straight shots by the Tigers to start the second half, the visitors broke the scoreboard in the 58th minute with a Chloe Thompson goal.
-A little over five minutes later, Addie Roemershauser netted her 11th goal of the season on an unassisted goal.
-Sewanee held Millsaps to one shot in the final 45 minutes.
NOTES AND NUGGETS
-The Tigers have won their eighth match in a row over the Majors and the 24th in a row in the regular season.
-Sewanee is now 30-3-1 all-time since the 1989 season when women's soccer became an NCAA sanctioned sport at the University.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Chloe Thompson, Maggie Gall and Addie Roemershauser led the Tigers with three shots each. Thompson and Roemershauser netted the goals.
-Hanna Judycki (4-4-2) saw four shots taken by the Majors, but they were all off-target. The sophomore earned the clean sheet.
MILLSAPS KEY STATISTICS
-Kimberly Manley had two of the team's four shots for the home team.
-Maddie Moore (0-6) saved eight shots in full time.
