HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers opened the contest with goals by Hayden Hunt and Daniel Burnum.
-After a Hendrix goal with 4:29 left in the opening quarter, the Tigers held the Warriors scoreless for the next 35-plus minutes en route to an 11-0 run during the time.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Thomas Oliver and Hayden Hunt each laced hat tricks in the win for the home team.
-Daniel Burnum scored twice and assisted on three Sewanee shots for five total points.
-As a team, Sewanee won 15-of-20 faceoffs. Alex DiNardon won 9-of-12, while Ryan Stubits collected six wins out of eight attempts.
-Bryce Womack (5-3) earned the win in the cage, saving seven shots in 30 first half minutes.
