Box Score LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Sewanee men's basketball team shot 62 percent from the floor and used an 11-point halftime lead to win 84-65 over Covenant Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers got hold of the lead on the first field goal of the game and they never looked back. Sewanee posted a 13-2 run to start the first 4:41 of the game.
-Trailing 37-18 with two minutes left in the half, the Scots finished the half on a 10-2 run to cut the deficit to 11 points, 39-28, at intermission.
-Covenant kept the rally going to start the second half, scoring the first eight points to push the run to 18-2 in a six-minute span.
-Leading 39-36 with 16 minutes left in the half, the Tigers were able to gain control of the contest from the rest of the game.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Luke Smith shot 9-of-14 from the field as he recorded a career-high 26 points and a season-best eight assists.
-Cam Caldwell went 5-of-6 from the floor in the first half as he finished with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Recording his second straight double-double, the senior added 10 boards.
-Jordan Warlick also contributed a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds each.
COVENANT KEY STATISTICS
-Bailey Spragg scored 12 points and posted six steals and assists each for the Scots.
