Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Sewanee women's soccer team allowed two goals in almost a three-minute span to drop a Southern Athletic Association match to in-state rival Rhodes, 2-1, Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee got on the board early in the 12th minute on an Erin Gill goal for her first of 2018 off a corner kick.
-That lead would hold up until the half, but the Lynx responded early in the second half. 1:32 into the period, Carly Cone found Katelyn Curtis' corner to strike for her fourth goal of the season.
-Almost three minutes later, Jenny Neil found Brenna Katz's cross for the game-winner as her first goal of the year.
-After Sewanee out-shot Rhodes 8-6 in the first half, the Lynx took 12 shots to the Tigers' two in the final 45 minutes.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Nika Gorski led all Sewanee strikers with three shots, two on goal.
-Erin Gill netted the lone goal for the visitors in the 12th minute.
-Hanna Judycki (3-7-2) stopped four shots in 66-plus minutes in goal.
RHODES KEY STATISTICS
-Jenny Neil and Aly Holt each took three shots for the Lynx.
-Neil and Carly Cone scored goals for the home team.
