Softball falls against Elmhurst and Northwestern Ohio

CLERMONT, Fla. (March 20, 2017) – The Sewanee softball team dropped a pair of games to Elmhurst and Northwestern Ohio, Monday.

Sewanee dropped an 8-1 contest to Elmhurst and then lost against Northwestern Ohio, 5-0.

Taylor Wagner finished 1-for-3 with a run scored while Rachel Hoffman was 2-for-5 on Monday. Caroline Sweetin also played well going a combined 3-for-3 on the day.

Finally, outfielder Emily Taylor, who came in for Sweetin against Northwestern Ohio, reached when she singled off of starter Heather Sanderson.

Sewanee continues its spring break trip with two more games against Northwestern Ohio, Tuesday.
