Dombrowski gets career win No. 100; Barry nets two goals as Sewanee tops Ferrum, 3-0

SEWANEE, Tenn. (Sept. 25, 2015) – Head coach Michele Dombrowski earned career win No. 100, Friday, as the Sewanee field hockey team earned a 3-0 victory over Ferrum at Puett Field.

The Tigers remain undefeated at 5-0 while Dombrowski becomes one of the few coaches in Sewanee history to have at least 100 career wins in multiple sports. She reached career victory No. 100 in women's lacrosse last spring.

Overall, Sewanee scored three goals, including two by birthday girl Virginia Barry. Along with Berry, senior Emma Horgan also scored a goal off a shot that was deflected by Kat Mulligan.

Overall, the Tigers dominated the stats with a 23-6 shot advantage. Sewanee also finished with 21 corners.

The Tigers return to action with a 11:00 a.m. contest against Hendrix, Sunday.
