Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. (Sept. 13, 2015) – The Sewanee field hockey team remained unbeaten with a 3-0 victory at Earlham, Sunday, at Darrell Beane Stadium.
The Tigers are now 4-0 after back-to-back road wins this weekend.
Sewanee opened the scoring when Virginia Barry netted an unassisted goal in the 21st minute of the first half.
The Tigers then added second-half goals by Emma Horgan, off an assist by Kat Mulligan, and a score from Luna Goodale.
Overall, Sewanee outshot Earlham 11-5. The Tigers have now reached double-digit shots in each of the last three matches.
Sewanee has also posted three shutouts behind a great backline defense and keeper Katya Waters.
Sewanee returns to action with a 2:00 p.m. match, Friday, at Puett Field.
