Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 12, 2015) – The Sewanee field hockey team stayed unbeaten with a 5-0 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) victory over Transylvania, Saturday.
The Tigers are now a perfect 3-0.
Sewanee opened with first-half goals by Kat Mulligan, Katie Wilson, and Carrie Anderson.
The Tigers did not let up early in the second half as Monica Bueso and Hannah Tompkins both netted goals in 42nd and 43rd minutes.
Overall, Sewanee dominated in shots 25-2. The Tigers also held an 11-2 advantage in corners.
The Tigers quickly return to action with a noon match at Earlham, Sunday.
