Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. (April 13, 2014) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) member Millsaps completed a three-game sweep of the Sewanee baseball team with an 11-1 win Sunday at Twenty Field.
Like they did the first two games, Millsaps was again led by its outstanding pitching staff. Majors starter Nathan Harrell limited Sewanee to just one run and two hits while striking out three in 4.0 innings.
Relievers Zack Snider, Colin Peak, and Andrew Rafferty combined for 3.0 innings of no-hit work.
At the plate, Millsaps pounded out 10 doubles and drove in 10 RBI.
Sewanee was led on offense by Zack Sutton, who had one double, and Nate Barnett, who finished with the Tigers' lone RBI.
Ryan Poole also had one hit and Jackson Cooper scored the lone Sewanee run.
Sewanee closes out its regular season with a three-game series against Hendrix beginning next Saturday.
