Box Score AUBURNDALE, Fla. (March 16, 2014) – The Sewanee baseball team opened its spring break trip with a 12-2 loss against Fontbonne Sunday in Auburndale, Fla.
The defeat dropped the Tigers overall record to 5-11.
Playing its earliest game of the season, the Tigers were led at the plate by Jack Whaley. The junior infielder finished with two hits and an RBI.
Freshman Alex Mockett took the loss for Sewanee.
Sewanee continues its games in the Sunshine State with a 9:30 a.m. (EST) contest Monday against Maine-Farmington in Winter Haven, Fla.
