Box Score JACKSON, Miss. (April 27, 2013) – Behind timely hitting and a strong pitching performance, Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Oglethorpe ended the Sewanee baseball team's season Saturday, after the Tigers dropped their second game in the 2013 SAA Baseball Tournament.
The Tigers could manage only four singles as the Stormy Petrels raced to a 10-0 win.
Ben Clune, Allen Thigpen, Jack Whaley, and Grant Goodson each had a hit for the Tigers.
Marshall Ussery was charged with the loss on the mound. Ussery allowed three runs on seven hits in six complete innings of work.
The Tigers end the season with record of 13-24.
