Tigers Fall to Centre 11-0

SEWANEE, Tenn. (April 15, 2012) – The Sewanee Tigers dropped an 11-0 decision to the Centre Colonels today in the final game of a three-game SCAC series in Sewanee.
 
With the loss Sewanee drops to 14-19 overall and 3-9 in SCAC play.
 
Freshman Marshall Ussery was charged with the loss on the mound for the Tigers.  Ussery allowed five runs, two earned, on seven hits in three innings of work.
 
Sewanee only had four hits in the game.  Alan Komorowski, Blake Bays, Jack Rogers and Grant Goodson all had singles.
 
The Tigers will play their final home game of the season on Tuesday when they host Tennessee Temple at Montgomery Field.  Game time is 2:00 pm.
