After taking an early lead in the first quarter, Wittenberg held on to defeat the Tigers 6-5 in Men's Lacrosse action. Sewanee battled back to come within one point of a tie by the end of the third quarter. After evening the score at 5-5 in the fourth, Wittenberg scored the final goal of the game with 16 seconds on the clock to notch the win.

Sewanee and Wittenberg would each score one goal in the remaining periods, capped off by Wittenberg's goal late in the fourth quarter with less than a minute to play. Sewanee goals were notched by freshman

David Shelton (Prairie Village, Kan., Culver Military Academy) paced the Tigers with 2 groundballs a piece. Sewanee ended the night 4 for 9 on faceoffs and converted 22 of 25 clears.
