SAN ANTONIO -- Trinity beat Sewanee 65-46 in SCAC men's basketball action Sunday after leading 36-22 at the half.
Garrett Hollingsworth (Roanoke, Va., North Cross) led Sewanee's effort with 11 points, while Luke Calderara led Trinity with 15. As a tea, Sewanee was 40% accurate from the field, while Trinity made 42% of its field goals. Sewanee had a 28-19 edge in three-point field goal percentage, but Trinity had the edge in free throws.
Sewanee is now 3-12 and 0-7 in the SCAC. Trinity is 6-9 and 3-4 in the league. Sewanee will host Colorado College and Austin College next weekend in SCAC play.
