Sewanee Field Hockey Falls at Home

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee hosted SCAC rival Centre in Sunday afternoon field hockey on Sunday and the visiting Colonels topped Sewanee 3-0 after leading 1-0 at the half.

Sarah Humphries scored the game-winner for Centre in the first half and then the Colonels added two for insurance in the second period. Newcomer Anna Morrow (Annapolis, Md., St. James) was the goalie for Sewanee and logged nine saves on the day. Patty Cowley had two saves for Centre.

Sewanee is 1-2 and will host Catawba and Sweet Briar next wekeend. Centre is 4-0 so far.
