Sewanee Tops Kenyon, Moves to 2-0

GAMBIER, Ohio – Sewanee was in Gambier on Sunday to face Kenyon and after leading 1-0 at the half, stayed strong in the second to get a 3-1 victory over the Ladies of Kenyon.
 
Lynn Hancock (Paris, Ky., Foxcroft) scored Sewanee's first half goal. In the second the Tiger goals were scored by Caroline Carlin (Gladwyne, Penn., Country Day)  and then again by Hancock.  Clarkie Crawford (Louisville, Ky., Collegiate) had eight saves in goal for the Tigers.
 
Sewanee moves to 2-0 with the win after beating Ohio Wesleyan yesterday. Hancock had four total goals over the weekend. Kenyon falls to 0-2 with the loss. Sewanee's next game will be against Rhodes and Hendrix on the Mountain in two weeks.
