Collins finishes second, Tigers finish third at Mountainside Stride

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Jack Collins came in second at the Mountainside Stride as Sewanee placed third as a team to open their season at Covenant in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Collins posted a time of 19:50.5 to take second in the 6K race. Christian Myers came in fifth with a time of 20:25.7, followed by Declan Oberlies in 11th, 21:04.8, and Price Lineweaver in 15th, running a 21:34.5. Austin Colvin rounded out the Tigers' scoring five in 26th place, running a 22:52.1.

As a team, the Tigers placed third behind Berry and Covenant. Sewanee will head to Jacksonville State to run at John Hunt Park in an 8K on September 18th.
