Men's Cross Country picked fifth in SAA Preseason Poll

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's men's cross country team was picked fifth in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) preseason poll, as voted on by the conference's nine head coaches.

Trinity garnered eight first-place votes for 72 points, while Centre picked up one first-place vote with 62 points. Berry and Rhodes finished third and fourth, respectively, with 59 and 53 points, while Sewanee rounded out the top five with 42 points.

The Tigers are set to host the 2026 SAA Men's Cross Country Championships on October 31 in Sewanee, Tenn.

Sewanee opens its season on Sept. 5 at the Mountainside Stride, hosted by Covenant at the Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn.
