Collins named SAA Athlete of the Week

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Jack Collins finished 10th overall at the Southern Showcase on Friday morning for the Tigers, earning his first SAA Athlete of the Week honors for the season, as announced on Tuesday morning by the conference.

Collins ran a 26:00.6 on the 8k course at John Hunt Park, which will host the NJCAA National Championships later this fall. His 10th-place finish helped lead the Tigers to a 12th-place finish as a team in the men's open race, competing against 239 competitors and 28 teams.
