Brooke Despriet and Ansley Carpenter qualify for NCAA individual doubles draw

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Brooke Despriet and Ansley Carpenter of Sewanee women's tennis team earned an invitation to the NCAA Division III doubles championship, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday evening.

Despriet and Carpenter are one of the 16 doubles pairs selected. The doubles draw will be announced on May 23, with the tournament set to take place from May 23-26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College.

Carpenter picks up her first appearance at the NCAA Individual Championships, as Despriet earned her fourth appearance at the NCAA Championships, twice with partner Katherine Petty in 2023 and 2024, and once with Alice Hall in 2022.

Despriet and Carpenter are 22-4 on the season.
