Men’s Basketball lands two on Academic All-District

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The College Sports Communicators released its Academic All-District awards for the 2024-25 men's basketball season as the Tigers placed two on the list. 

Tre Corrigan earned his third straight honors as the senior played in 105 games with 90 starts throughout his career. The guard finished the season averaging 11 points a game with 3.1 rebounds. Corrigan became the 29th player in school history with 1,000 career points, finishing his career with 1,126 points. Corrigan ranks 4th all-time for the Tigers in assists and 25th in Sewanee's records for points. 

Eli Holland earned his second CSC All-District honors as the senior played in 81 career games, tallying 326 points and 300 rebounds. Holland ended the season averaging 4 points and 3.7 rebounds. 

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average. Nominees must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests. Only a select group of student-athletes, chosen by CSC committees, advance from Academic All-District submission status to the Academic All-America ballot.
