SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee men's indoor track and field team was selected eighth in the Southern Athletic Association Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
Trinity was picked to finish first with 66 points and five first-place votes. Centre followed closely in second with 64 points and three first-place votes, while Berry received 63 points and one first-place vote. Rhodes (50 points) and Oglethorpe (40 points) rounded out the top five.
Sewanee earned 28 points for eighth place, finishing one point behind Maryville (29) in the preseason voting.
The Tigers will open the 2026 indoor season on Feb. 14 at the Centre Invitational before returning home to host the Sewanee Indoor Open on Feb. 21.
