Collins finishes ninth, men take sixth at SAA Championships

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Freshman Jack Collins finished ninth individually and Sewanee men's cross country placed sixth as a team Saturday at the SAA Championships in Georgetown, Texas.
 
Collins posted a time of 25:57.4 on the 8K course for ninth place, averaging just over five minutes a mile.
 
Freshman Christian Myers placed 34^th in 27:02.6 while freshmen William Hughes and Austin Colvin and sophomore Declan Oberlies finished 36^th, 37^th and 38^th, respectively with times of 27:26.4, 27:27.2 and 27:36.6.
 
Sophomore Parker Tallman was 40^th in 27:37.6 and senior Brandon Christ finished 47^th in 28:27.5.
 
Freshman Jack Conger placed 77^th in 28:43.3 while freshman Jonah Norris was 87^th in 29:43.4 and sophomore Henry Zanone came across in 89^th in 31:30.6.
