Men's Tennis clinches regular season title

Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. – The men's tennis team clinched the regular season title as they defeated Hendrix 6-0, playing only until the match was clinched.

Jackson Davis and Drew Rukavina collected the first point of the match at three doubles, with an 8-3 result. Gil Weston and Liam Baer, at line one collected the next point with an 8-4 win, and at two doubles, Talman Ramsey and Andre Remi Jacobi posted an 8-5 win to send Sewanee into singles play up 3-0.

Ramsey dropped just two games and collected a quick 6-1, 6-1 win at two singles. Charlie Pizzuti, did not drop a game for a 6-0, 6-0 win at four and Rukavina collected a 6-1, 6-2 result at six singles before the match was stopped.

Sewanee will be the one seed in the SAA tournament, hosted at Old Fort Park in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on April 26-28th.
