In the second game of the day, the Tigers faced Carroll University.

Carroll tallied the first goal of the day, but Sewanee answered with three of their own from Brooke Sigmon, Erika Bolcar, and Caroline Harlick. Carroll flipped the box score in the second period to tie the score recording three of their own goals to the Tigers' one.

Herrington collected a man-down goal to start the third quarter, but a man-up goal from Carroll equalized the goal. Herrington got the momentum rolling for Sewanee again with an assist from Harlick to start a run of five unanswered goals for the Tigers for a 10-5 lead.

With 2:25 left in the third period, Carroll recorded three goals to end the period just down by two goals.

The fourth period was the Tiger's downfall as they posted only one goal to Carroll's five for an 11-13 game.
