Southwestern capitalized on another man-up opportunity with another goal in the third. Burns then connected with Muller at 10:08 on the clock. Price recorded her second goal of the day off a caused turnover and ground ball from Clara Earley.

A Sewanee turnover led to the Pirates' sixth goal of the day, but Herrington quickly got the goal back off an assist from Connors.

A draw-control win from Herrington led to another goal from Connors with an assist from Morgan Boylan for a 14-6 Sewanee lead.

Southwestern connected on another man-up opportunity to cut Sewanee's lead to half.

Sigmon took control of play as she forced a caused turnover, got the ground ball, and then scored her second goal of the day.
