Ude places seventh, Gamble eighth at SAA Championships

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sophomore Sam Ude finished seventh in the mile run and Lane Gamble placed eighth in the 400-meters for Sewanee on the final day of the inaugural SAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Danville, Ky.
 
Ude posted a time of 5:46.56 for seventh in the mile while Gamble was eighth in the 400 in 54.39.
 
The women's 4x400-meter relay of freshman Wrenna Morris, sophomore Kylene Monaghan, junior Lou Bullock and junior Jocelyn Covaney finished fourth in a school-record 4:22.61. The men's 4x400 team of freshman Jimmy Holmes, sophomore Lane Gamble, sophomore Gavin Stallings and sophomore Brandon Christ placed fifth in 3:38.37
