Sewanee jumped out to a fast start behind Olivia Falvey, who opened the game with back-to-back three-pointers and a layup to fuel a 9-0 run. The Tigers drained five threes in the opening quarter, building a 24-12 lead.

The momentum carried into the second quarter, as Sewanee launched a 15-2 run to stretch their advantage. A jumper from Faith Humphrey late in the period gave the Tigers their largest first-half lead. Defensively, Sewanee stifled Wesleyan, holding them to just nine points in the second quarter to take a commanding 48-21 lead into halftime.

The Tigers kept their foot on the gas in the second half. Cleveland opened the fourth quarter with a jumper, and Grace Potter capped the game with a three-pointer in the final seconds, pushing the lead to 45 points—their largest margin of the afternoon.
