Theron/Wicklund advance at ITA Cup

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Jordan Theron and Quinn Wicklund won the semifinals of the back draw against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Warren Pham and Matthew Robinson in a thrilling three-set match.

Theron and Wicklund dropped a tight first set in a tiebreaker, 7-5, but the Tigers came back and took the second 6-3 to force a match tiebreaker. This time, the Tigers came out on top of the 10-point tiebreaker, collecting a 10-7 win.

They are slated to face another Claremont-Mudd-Scripps team of Caleb Settles and Brandon Vu in the finals of the backdraw.
