Field Hockey drops 4-0 decision

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Taylor Klesel had 16 saves in goal for Sewanee as the Tigers fell to Marian 4-0 in field hockey action on Saturday. 

Marian outshot Sewanee with 35 shots, 21 on goal. Ann Mason Burr had a defensive save to keep the Tigers within striking distance. Klesel played all 60 minutes in goal for the Tigers, recording 16 saves. 

Eve Bournias and Moira Darling lead Sewanee's offense as they combined for three shots, each getting one on goal. 

The Tigers continue conference play at home on Sunday against Concordia Wisconsin at Noon before they head to St. Louis, Mo. to face Maryville on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m.
