Sewanee Field Hockey taken down by Wittenberg

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sydney Simpson had all five of Sewanee's shots with 4 on goal as the Tigers fell to Wittenberg in Memphis on Sunday. 

Claire Damare played all 60 minutes in goal for the Tigers as she had 14 saves for the day. The Tigers played with no substitutes due to injury as they fell to Wittenberg 8-0. Sewanee had 4 corners to Wittenberg's 16. 

The Tigers return to the Mountain next weekend to host their conference game of the season against Marian on Saturday at Noon and Concordia Wisconsin on Sunday at Noon.
