Will Hawgood in the second minute, heading a cross into the left corner of the goal, staking Sewanee to an early advantage on the road.The Tigers outshot Hampden-Sydney, 4-2, in the first half and 9-5 for the match.
Jackson Burkhart posted the game-tying goal in the 41
st minute on an assist by Emory Davis.
