HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee got on the board first in the opening frame. After a wild pitch brought Zoe Crockett in for the Tigers' first run, a Maggie Barker RBI single made it 2-0.

-The Colonels cut the deficit in half with an RBI single in the third.

-Sewanee made it a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an RBI single by Zoe Crockett and a fielder's choice by Hannah Wilson to score Sam Dean

-Centre responded in the fifth in a loud way, as they started the inning with a leadoff home run. Two batters later, Emily Lammers made it a 4-3 score on another solo shot. The visitors tied the game on an error in the field.

-In the bottom half of the inning, Sewanee loaded the bases with two outs, but they were left loaded on a fly out.

-Staying all knotted up at four runs each going into the bottom of the sixth. After back-to-back free passes by Crockett and Wilson and a double steal to put runners on second and third, Alice Charboneau gave Sewanee the lead on a sacrifice fly.

-After a pop-up for Sewanee's second out of the inning and Wilson at third, a wild pitch saw her scamper home for the 6-4 lead.

-In the seventh, after a leadoff single and a sacrifice bunt to move her up 60 feet, a strikeout by Hanna Hollis and a pop-up ended the game and secured the series victory for the Purple and White.
