ATLANTA - Announced on Monday afternoon by the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), senior infielder
Alice Charboneau from the University of the South secured the SAA Softball Player of the Week honor.
Hitting for the cycle on the day in Sewanee's doubleheader split of the Mississippi University for Women, Charboneau had a 5-for-7 day at the dish with three runs scored and four RBI.
In game one, she had a double and a homer and added a triple in the night cap.
In 2023, The Manassas, Va. native has a .385 batting average and a 1.137 on-base plus slugging with six home runs and 28 RBI.
Sewanee returns to action as a part of the SAA Tournament on Friday, April 28. Seedings and site locations will be announced by the league office in the coming days.
