HOW IT HAPPENED
-After a 1-1 score early in the opening period, the Tigers went on a 3-0 run thanks to goals by
Emma Burns,
Marlin Price and
Raleigh Cooper.
-Despite the Britons tying the game at four goals apiece with seven minutes left in the opening period, Cooper scored for the second time in the period thanks to a pass from
Emma Burns.
-Leading 7-6, the Tigers essentially put the game away on a 6-0 run and led 13-6 at the break.
-Late in the third quarter,
Sally Herrington put the game into a running clock situation with her goal, 20-10, with five minutes remaining.

Marlin Price won 18 draw controls and added four goals. On defense, she scooped up four ground balls and forced four turnovers.

Emma Burns scored six points with four goals and two assists.
